Our Show

Rising Star is an indigenous early childhood web series from the Northern Territory Music School in Darwin. It's all about encouraging regional and remote younger kids along with their families to have fun playing, reading and learning new things.

Rising Star works with Families as First Teachers (FaFT) centers around the Territory to incorporate favourite songs,  stories and indigenous language into videos that can be viewed for fun or even learning!

Early episodes have engaged the remarkable creative skills of indigenous performers such as June Mills, Ali Mills, Rob Collins and Emily Wurramurra.
